Principal's Message

 

Welcome King Families,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year.  As I start my 7th year at King Elementary, I look forward to continuing the collaboration and growth post distance learning, and watching the students thrive at our amazing school.  I am incredibly proud of our outstanding staff, the challenging and rigorous curriculum we provide, and the warm and caring environment we provide to our students. Together with your families, we have consistently supported our scholars with growth gains academically and socially.  We will continue to work together toward consistent improvement, while creating relationships in our community.

 Safety is our main focus at King. Every one of us needs to be safety minded as our children are the most precious. Please drive safely around the school. Do not double park or ask your child to enter your car while you are in a lane in the street. Pull over to the curb please. Students may now ride skateboards, bikes, and scooters to school. If you or your child see something that seems concerning, call the school office and let us know. We believe in being proactive, not reactive. 

 Be sure to attend King events this year as we continue to build community relationships.

Bienvenidas Familias King,

Bienvenidos al año escolar 2023-2024. Al comenzar mi septimo año en King Elementary, espero continuar la colaboración y el crecimiento posterior al aprendizaje a distancia, y ver a los estudiantes prosperar en nuestra increíble escuela. Estoy increíblemente orgulloso de nuestro destacado personal, el plan de estudios desafiante y riguroso que brindamos y el ambiente cálido y afectuoso que brindamos a nuestros estudiantes. Junto con sus familias, hemos apoyado constantemente a nuestros estudiantes con ganancias de crecimiento académico y social. Continuaremos trabajando juntos hacia un avance constante, mientras creamos relaciones en nuestra comunidad.

  La seguridad es nuestro principal enfoque en King. Cada uno de nosotros debe tener en cuenta la seguridad, ya que nuestros hijos son lo más preciado. Por favor maneje con cuidado alrededor de la escuela. No estacione en doble fila ni le pida a su hijo que entre a su automóvil mientras usted se encuentra en un carril de la calle. Deténgase en la acera, por favor. Los estudiantes ahora pueden andar en patinetas, bicicletas y patinetas para ir a la escuela. Si usted o su hijo ven algo que parece preocupante, llame a la oficina de la escuela e infórmenos. Creemos en ser proactivos, no reactivos.

  Asegúrese de asistir a los eventos de King este año mientras continuamos construyendo relaciones comunitarias.
